Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 12, 2026

Ahlan is designed around private event planning and invitations. Ahlan does not sell personal information and is not designed to use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking.

Information used by Ahlan

Information you choose to enter in the app can include event details, venue information, invitation settings, host-entered guest information, reminders, greetings, and other event content. Some preferences and organizer information are stored locally on your device.

Live invitations and RSVP

When a host creates or shares a live invitation, information required to make that invitation work may be sent to Ahlan's backend. This can include event details, invitation identifiers or access tokens, response settings, and guest RSVP or attendance responses. A guest can use the web invitation experience without creating an Ahlan account.

Contacts and social features

Ahlan is not designed to automatically upload your address book or create a public social graph. Guest details are intended for invitation and event-management purposes rather than public discovery. Ahlan does not provide public read receipts or online-presence status.

Maps, weather, calendar and external services

Features such as maps, directions, weather information, calendar actions, and shared web invitations may use Apple or other external service providers. Those providers may receive technical information needed to fulfill a request, such as an IP address, requested location, or device/network information, subject to their own privacy policies.

Netlify-hosted web pages

Ahlan's public invitation, support, privacy, and contact pages are hosted using Netlify. Netlify may process standard technical logs and network information needed to deliver, secure, and operate the website.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Ahlan may use notification-related identifiers and event timing information as needed to provide reminders and invitation updates. Notification behavior also depends on your Apple device settings.

Sharing

You control when an invitation or invitation link is shared. Anyone who receives a valid invitation link may be able to view the information included in that invitation, so links should be shared only with intended recipients.

Data retention

Local information remains on your device until you remove it or the app removes it as part of normal operation. Live-invitation and RSVP information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the invitation feature, maintain reliability and security, respond to support requests, or meet legal obligations.

Children

Ahlan is a general event and invitation tool and is not directed to children for the purpose of collecting personal information. Hosts should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information about guests.

Changes to this policy

If Ahlan's data practices materially change, this policy and the applicable App Store privacy disclosures should be updated before or with the relevant release.
